GROW DETROIT'S YOUNG TALENT

For Youth

If you are a youth, between 14 and 24 years of age and live in the City of Detroit, Michigan, the Grow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT) campaign is designed to encourage you to succeed.  GDYT raises funds for employer partners to provide summer employment for youth. We do not hire or make direct job placements.

If you are seeking summer employment, here are a few things you can do now:

1. Submit your contact information  *******As of 5/6/2013 the waitlist is closed for Summer 2013.*******

2. Contact any neighborhood-based, youth-serving nonprofit organization in Detroit to see if they are participating in the GDYT program. If they are not, you can encourage them to apply to GDYT by completing an RFP (The 2013 worksites have  been selected).  Only participating organizations are eligible to receive the funds we raise to create summer employment opportunities for youth in Detroit.
